Please Keep Your Dog on Leash Outside the Park
The church requests that you keep your dogs on leash until they are entering the park. There are many individuals who are on church property on a daily basis, and letting dogs roam outside of the park creates a liability for the church.
Please abide by this request and politely encourage others to do so as well. This will help ensure that everyone on the church’s campus can enjoy it safely — both human and canine.
Announcements
We are seeking volunteers to help with park upkeep, communications, website maintenance, and fundraising. If you are interested in any of the opportunities or have other ways you would like to contribute, please contact Central Commons at 469-753-9007 and ask for Jayne Hawley.
UNCLAIMED PET WASTE IS A MAJOR PROBLEM AT THE PARK. KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR PETS AND PICK UP AFTER THEM. WE WILL NEED TO IMPLEMENT MORE STRINGENT MEASURES IF THIS DOES NOT IMPROVE.
How You Can Help Manage Pet Waste
- If someone does not pick up after their pet, kindly and politely let them know.
- If you see pet waste that’s been left behind, be nice and pick it up.
- Each waste station is equipped with rakes and scoopers. Grab a set and sweep a small section of the park.
We do have a great community, and numerous people generously pick up unclaimed poop when they are at the park. Keep in mind, this is not their job. If you see someone doing that, thank them.
If you make a monetary donation to the church or dog park and would like a record of your donation for tax purposes, please click here to ensure the church has your correct address.
The park rules were revised last year. You can review them on our rules page.
Aggressive Dogs
All park participants are empowered to request the departure of aggressive dogs and owners oblivious to their dog’s behavior.
Park Incidents
The church requests notification of any incidents of aggressive behavior. Encourage information exchange between people who have an issue. Take pictures of people, dogs, and license plates of the people involved. Click here to report an incident directly from our website.
